My process is designed to be as hands-off for clients as possible. They're busy running and growing their business. By leveraging a deep-dive consultation process, I can gather more information than I need to help make strategic decisions and present work for review in a way that makes it easy to say "yes" and keep going.
The Process: In-Depth
Discovery & Research
In the discovery stage, I take a lot of time and ask a lot of questions to get a really good feel for who you are, what you're doing, who you're doing it for, and what you need out of our relationship. Most of the time, we have a "Match Meeting" to make sure we're a good fit before we start on your project, but in most cases, those morph into a project start call.
Once I feel like I've got a good handle on the deliverables, I'll dive into research about what will make the most sense for your brand. I'll deliver a proposal as needed, and we'll cross off some of the logistics to get started working together.
Design & Feedback
This is when the magic happens! I'll get to work creating the things we've talked about based on your needs and priorities. During this phase, you get to focus on other things while I'm building out your assets.
Once they're ready, I'll present them to you in a way that helps you to both understand why they fit your vision and helps you to visualize what they'll look like in their final form. This is when you tell me what you do and don't like - your feedback is the most important piece of the project, and without it, you'll end up settling for "good enough." We'll stay in this phase as long as needed.
Delivery & Next Steps
Once you're happy with where things stand, I'll deliver the final product to you in whatever form that looks like. For a logo, you'll get a full suite of logo files that you can use for everything moving forward. For a print piece, you'll get a print-ready file that can be submitted to practically any printer with minimal issues.
If you need my assistance with taking things over the finish line - like estimating and submitting a piece for print - this is when that happens too.
At the end of the day, you'll have everything you need to be successful in a well-organized fashion.
Regardless of how big or small your project is, our relationship doesn't end once the terms have been met. I'm always here to help you with updates, new projects, or strategy on how to leverage the pieces we've worked on together. You should view our working relationship as a long-time partnership. Since I've taken the time to get to know you and your business, things will only get easier as time goes on, and eventually, we'll be able to create new pieces for your brand with very little back and forth needed. You'll just know that everything fits together, makes sense, and makes you look great to clients, prospects, and referrals.
